Reflections Taxidermy

Ryan Butler

I have always enjoyed early mornings and long days in the field of my home state of Montana. I have had the opportunity to travel to several states and Provinces to hunt, fish, photograph and even film for the Outdoor Channel.

My Passion for Taxidermy started early in my high school years. Wanting to look at other successful hunter's trophy collections brought entertainment to my mind by looking at unique mounts and different ways to pose and relive their experiences from the field.  I've always found it amazing what a taxidermist can do to recreate something and use a creative artist mind into a finished piece for someone to admire for a lifetime.

I have been mounting big game for over 20 years and have been taught by several different well-known taxidermist. They have given me a great wealth of knowledge that I use in my work along with my own twist of artistic taxidermy.
